About the Role

At Sushi Raku Japanese Cuisine, we are seeking an experienced Culinary Specialist to join our team. This dynamic role requires a skilled and dedicated individual to prepare and cook high-quality meals.

We offer a competitive salary of $55,000 - $65,000 per annum, depending on experience, to ensure our employees are fairly compensated for their skills and expertise.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Cooking Complete Meals
    • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods according to menu specifications
  • Maintaining Inventory
    • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment
  • Cleaning Kitchen and Work Areas
    • Clean kitchen and work areas to maintain a safe and hygienic environment
Work Environment

This is a permanent full-time position, working approximately 30-40 hours per week in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The successful candidate must be able to work effectively in a team environment and communicate clearly with colleagues.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will require:

  • A Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of relevant experience in the culinary industry
