Senior Manager, Domestic Tax

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager to join our Domestic Tax team in Ottawa. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for evaluating client business processes and policies, advising on tax policy and changes to meet market needs, and developing proactive tax strategies to make business opportunities effective.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate client business processes and policies to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to optimize tax efficiency.
  • Advise clients on tax policy and changes to ensure compliance and minimize risk.
  • Develop and implement proactive tax strategies to capitalize on business opportunities.
  • Provide technical and project management leadership to team members on Domestic Tax projects or assignments.
  • Engage in training staff and invest in the professional development of your team.

Requirements:

  • 7 years' experience in public accounting with a specialization in Tax for a minimum of 3 years.
  • Extensive understanding of relevant tax legislation, corporate, personal and trust tax planning and compliance.
  • CPA designation and In-Depth Tax Program and/or Master's in Tax.
