About the Role:

The Sales Associate plays a vital role in delivering exceptional eye care experiences to patients in their neighborhood. This dynamic individual will hone their selling and consultative skills, driving sales growth and meeting team objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, while building new ones to consistently meet sales targets.
  • Utilize optical prescriptions to recommend specific lenses and coatings, ensuring patients receive the best possible vision solutions.
  • Assist patients in selecting frames, coordinating with optical measurements to provide a seamless experience.
  • Conduct measurements using optical tools and consult with Opticians as needed to ensure accuracy.
  • Contribute to a positive store environment, fostering strong relationships with peers, management, doctors, and support staff.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store appearance, taking pride in visual displays and inventory.
  • Embody an inclusive culture by treating customers and colleagues with respect and dignity.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 1+ years of experience in retail or customer service
  • Familiarity with point-of-sale systems, computers, and calculators, with basic phone and math skills
  • Ability to adapt to new technology and change with high accuracy
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written
  • Self-motivation and ability to multitask, responding flexibly in a quickly changing environment
