Within our Credit Portfolio Management Group, the Credit Analyst will work under the supervision of a Director - Senior Credit Analyst, managing a portfolio of large US corporates and subsidiaries of non-US groups in diverse industries. The Credit Analyst will prepare comprehensive credit analyses, review legal documentation, and monitor portfolios under senior guidance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare high-quality credit applications and annual reviews for corporate counterparties, assessing their credit quality and recommending suitable credit limits, terms, and conditions.
  • Analyze financial statements (P&L, BS, and CF), review client strategies, business risks, industry dynamics, and competitive environments.
  • Develop financial projections, determine debt repayment capabilities, and ensure compliance with SGUS Credit Policies.
  • Propose and update Obligor Risk Ratings.
  • Monitor covenant compliance.
  • Review relevant legal documentation (credit agreements, Guaranty, ISDA, CSA) and propose changes as necessary to comply with SGUS policies.
  • Liaise with CPM teams in the US, Europe, and Asia, business lines, Bankers, legal & compliance, operations, and Risk department.
  • Assess credit terms and conditions, including financial covenants, security, and collateral.
Requirements
  • 8-10 years of experience as a credit analyst in a corporate and investment banking entity or related field.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
Skills and Qualifications
  • Strong understanding of finance and accounting principles.
  • Proficiency in Word for written analysis and Excel for spreadsheet analysis.
  • Knowledge of capital markets/traded products and committed financing facilities.
  • Fluency in English and French languages.

Salary
