Job Title: Analog / Mixed-Signal IC Design Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Analog / Mixed-Signal IC Design Engineer to join our team at Lightmatter. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing complex analog and mixed-signal circuits for our cutting-edge optical computing chips.

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with our chip architects to develop architecture and feasibility studies
  • Work with cross-functional teams to translate system-level requirements into electrical design specifications
  • Lead the design and integration of integrated circuits
  • Design and develop complex analog and mixed-signal circuits
  • Develop technical reports and design specifications documents
  • Plan and implement DFT strategy
  • Validate analog circuit performance in the lab
  • Support production test development and ramp to production
  • Mentor junior engineers
Requirements:
  • Master's degree with 8+ years of relevant experience, or Ph.D. with 5+ years of experience
  • 3+ years of experience in the Semiconductor industry in Analog/Mixed-signal IC design
  • Strong fundamentals of CMOS device characteristics, noise, mismatch, linearity, and design trade-offs
  • Experience designing complex blocks such as data converters, control-loop circuits, and high-speed interface circuits
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in advanced FinFET process nodes
  • Experience with Cadence Design Environment
  • Hands-on experience in the lab with silicon evaluation and validation
  • Ability to work collaboratively with people across multiple functional areas
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
