Lightmatter is revolutionizing the field of artificial intelligence computing with our innovative architecture that leverages the unique properties of light. We're seeking a highly skilled Analog Design Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of fast and efficient inference and training engines.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Collaborate with our chip architects to lead feasibility studies and drive the development of our architecture.
  2. Work closely with other design engineering teams to translate system-level requirements into electrical design specifications.
  3. Lead the analog design and top-level integration of integrated circuits development, focusing on complex analog and mixed-signal circuits.
  4. Design and develop technical reports and design specifications documents.
  5. Plan and implement DFT strategy and support its design implementation.
  6. Oversee the performance validation of analog circuits in the lab.
  7. Support production test development and ramp to production.
  8. Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the growth of our team.
Requirements
  1. Master's degree with 12+ years of relevant experience, or Ph.D. with 8+ years of experience.
  2. 10+ years of experience in the Semiconductor industry in Analog/Mixed-signal IC design.
  3. Solid understanding of CMOS device characteristics, noise, mismatch, linearity, and design trade-offs.
  4. Experience designing complex blocks such as data converters, control-loop circuits, and high-speed interface circuits.
  5. Experience with Cadence Design Environment and advanced FinFET process nodes is a plus.
  6. Hands-on experience in the lab with silicon evaluation and validation.
  7. Ability to work collaboratively with people across multiple functional areas.
  8. Widely recognized as an expert and thought leader both internally and externally.
  9. Ability to explain advanced concepts and understand how they relate to other disciplines.
