Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Child and Youth Worker to work with our team to provide high-quality care and support to children and youth in our group homes and community programs. The successful candidate will have a strong background in child and youth care, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individual and group support to children and youth in our care, including life skills training, education, and recreational activities.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each child and youth.
  • Collaborate with other professionals, including social workers, psychologists, and medical professionals, to ensure comprehensive care and support.
  • Monitor and report on the progress of children and youth, including any changes in their behavior, health, or well-being.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of policies and procedures to ensure the highest quality of care.
Requirements:
  • Diploma or degree in Child and Youth Care or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience working with children and youth in a group home or community program setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with children, youth, and families.
