Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Physiotherapist II to join our Primary Care team at Northern Health Authority. As a Physiotherapist II, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of a person and family-centered model of care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and treat patients with a range of physical conditions, using evidence-based practices and interventions.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, working collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families, promoting self-management and empowerment.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical policies and procedures, ensuring best practices and quality care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance patient care.
Requirements
  • Current registration with the College of Physical Therapists of British Columbia (CPTBC).
  • Two (2) years' experience in acute care, long-term care, or community setting preferred.
  • Valid BC Driver's license where required.
