About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Service Technician to join our team in Kamloops. As a key member of our mobility solutions team, you will play a critical role in ensuring our clients' devices are safe and functioning correctly.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and Repair
    • Create service orders and quotes in our NAV system
    • Assess and troubleshoot issues with client devices
    • Repair manual and power devices and equipment onsite and in-store
    • Repair electrical systems within mobility devices
    • Program and set up basic power and mobility equipment
    • Install and repair elevating products and solutions
  • Deliver a Motion Customer Experience
    • Build trusting relationships with clients
    • Ensure client needs are met and our objective to make life accessible is achieved
  • Be Flexible and Mobile
    • Travel to clients' homes and facilities
Requirements
  • Technical Skills
    • Previous experience in a customer service role
    • Exposure to using diagnostic tools, electronic equipment, and completing mechanical repairs
    • Interest in or knowledge of mobility products is beneficial
    • Avid troubleshooter with innovative and efficient problem-solving approach
  • Empathy
    • Provide clients with exceptional customer experience by navigating any situation in a friendly, professional, and compassionate manner
  • Additional Requirements
    • Lift up to 50 pounds to move or repair equipment and devices
    • Valid driver's license and clean driving record; travel to client sites occasionally required
    • Willing to work flexible hours on occasion to accommodate clients' needs
