Service Technician Role

We're seeking a skilled Service Technician to join our team at CB Canada.

As a Service Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and functionality of our clients' mobility devices. Your primary responsibility will be to diagnose and repair custom mobility equipment, such as manual wheelchairs and rollators, power wheelchairs, and elevating equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver, install, and repair mobility equipment at clients' homes, facilities, or our care centre
  • Assess and troubleshoot issues clients may be having with their devices
  • Repair manual and power devices and equipment onsite and in-store
  • Repair electrical systems within the mobility device
  • Program and set-up basic power and mobility equipment
  • Install and repair elevating products and solutions

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a customer service role
  • Exposure to using diagnostic tools, electronic equipment, and completing mechanical repairs
  • An interest in or knowledge of mobility products is beneficial
  • Ability to lift up to fifty (50) pounds to move or repair equipment and devices
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Clean criminal background check and ability to be bonded
  • Willingness to work flexible hours on occasion to accommodate clients' needs
