Job Summary:

The Heavy Duty Cleaner will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our office buildings, apartment complexes, and commercial properties. This includes sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and waxing floors, as well as operating industrial vacuum cleaners and other equipment.

Responsibilities:
  • Sweep, mop, scrub, and wax hallways, floors, and stairs
  • Operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove scraps, dirt, heavy debris, and other refuse
  • Empty trash cans and other waste containers
  • Wash windows, interior walls, and ceilings
  • Move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies
  • Water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens
  • Clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures
  • Work with minimal supervision
  • Clean snow and ice from walkways and parking areas
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle repetitive tasks
  • Physically demanding work environment
  • Ability to lift up to 9 kg (20 lbs)
