Front Desk Representative

The Front Desk Agent will play a vital role in the success of Coast Hotels by delivering exceptional customer service and administrative support to the Front Office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide top-notch customer service and handle administrative tasks such as guest check-in and check-out, resolving guest concerns, and assisting with group arrivals and departures.
- Adhere to established procedures and policies when completing tasks.
- Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail.
- Prepare and send courier packages, ensuring accurate billing and records.
- Order office supplies and maintain inventory levels.
- Act as a brand ambassador for Coast Hotels, greeting guests and handling basic inquiries.
- Demonstrate a customer-centric attitude with internal and external contacts.
- Provide basic data entry and transaction handling services for the Front Office.
- Input data accurately into the relevant database.
- Produce statistics and reports on data in standard formats.
- Report discrepancies in room rates, payment information, and credit arrangements to the relevant manager.
- Verify the accuracy of daily inputs, including payment transactions, and submit the daily shift audit for review by the night audit.
- Handle cash, cheques, credit, and debit card transactions in accordance with hotel policies.
- Perform other duties as required.
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role.
- Secondary School Diploma.
- Advanced communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
- Technical aptitude.
- Basic proficiency in MS Office Suite.
- Professional appearance and attitude.
- Bondable.
- Exemplifies Coast Hotels' core values and thrives in a culture of accountability.
- Able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and some nights.
