Hairstylist - Hair Colour Specialist

A Square Enterprises Inc. is seeking a skilled Hairstylist to join our team. As a Hairstylist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional hair care services to our clients. This includes cutting and trimming hair according to client instructions, applying bleach, tints, dyes or rinses to colour, frost or streak hair, and suggesting hair styles compatible with client physical features and preferences.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze hair and scalp condition
  • Book appointments
  • Cut and trim hair according to client's instructions or preferences
  • Provide custom hair and scalp treatment
  • Shampoo customers' hair
  • Shave and trim beards and mustaches
  • Supervise other hair stylists and other staff
  • Supervise apprentices/students in training
  • Apply bleach, tints, dyes or rinses to colour, frost or streak hair
  • Cut, trim, taper, curl, wave, perm and style hair
  • Suggest hair style compatible with client's physical features and preferences
  • Perform receptionist duties
  • Maintain and order supplies
Work Environment:

Requirements:
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience
  • Permanent employment
  • English as the primary language of work
