Job Title: Hairstylist

We are seeking a skilled and creative Hairstylist to join our team at A Square Enterprises Inc.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional hair styling services to our clients, including cutting, trimming, coloring, and styling hair. They will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized workspace, as well as providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze hair and scalp condition to determine the best course of treatment
  • Book appointments and manage client schedules
  • Cut and trim hair according to client instructions or preferences
  • Provide custom hair and scalp treatments
  • Shampoo customers' hair and style it to perfection
  • Shave and trim beards and mustaches
  • Supervise other hair stylists and staff members
  • Apply bleach, tints, dyes, or rinses to color, frost, or streak hair
  • Cut, trim, taper, curl, wave, perm, and style hair
  • Suggest hair styles compatible with client physical features and preferences
  • Perform receptionist duties and maintain supplies
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. They will be required to stand for extended periods and work in a wet/damp environment.

Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in the hair styling industry
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Manual dexterity and attention to detail
