About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to join our team at BrandSafway. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for directing and planning engineering project assignments, with a focus on delivering high-quality solutions to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct and prioritize the work of other engineers and designers, providing technical guidance and support as needed.
- Review and evaluate technical work, ensuring that it meets our high standards and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate workload issues with regional engineering managers to maintain optimal response times.
- Provide technical guidance and support to designers and other engineers in the department.
- Direct supervisory responsibilities for a team of 2-5 individuals.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent, with appropriate licensure.
- Full membership in a recognized professional engineering association.
- Minimum five years of postgraduate working experience in a relevant field, preferably in shoring, forming, and access scaffolding applications or similar products.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information clearly.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD software and MS Office, with good working knowledge of structural analysis software.
- Professional Engineering License for the appropriate Province(s)/State(s).
- Commitment to professional career development and a positive attitude.
