Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Engineer III to supervise and/or carry out engineering designs to meet client needs and ensure they meet corporate and professional engineering and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise, coordinate, and/or conduct complex design/engineering assignments on multiple projects.
  • Monitor work schedules to ensure timely completion.
  • Review work for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to technical specifications and company standards.
  • Provide technical support and training to less experienced engineers, trainees, and designers.
  • Check, review, and approve application drawings.
  • Visit construction project sites and conduct inspections as required.
  • Collaborate with Aluma Systems' sales representatives on engineering designs utilizing Aluma products.
  • Provide backup support to senior engineers and engineering managers.
  • Occasionally travel to branch offices to provide engineering support.
  • Offer technical guidance to designers and less experienced engineers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent, with relevant licensure.
  • Full membership in a recognized professional engineering association.
  • Minimum of eight years of postgraduate working experience in a relevant field, preferably in shoring, forming, and access scaffolding applications or similar products.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English to convey facts and information clearly.
  • Sound working knowledge of AutoCAD software and MS Office.
  • Good working knowledge of structural analysis software.
  • Professional engineering licensure.
  • Commitment to professional career development.
  • Demonstrated teamwork and interpersonal skills, positive attitude, and ability to work collaboratively with sales personnel and others to provide customer-focused engineered solutions.
  • Excellent leadership skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks efficiently and effectively, working overtime as required.
