SKY CONTRACTING INC. is seeking a skilled Tile Setter to join our team. As a Tile Setter, you will be responsible for installing ceramic, porcelain, and natural stone tiles on walls and floors.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare surfaces for tile installation by cleaning, measuring, and marking them.
- Mix and apply adhesives, mortars, and grouts to ensure a strong bond between tiles and surfaces.
- Set tiles in place, aligning them to ensure a level and even surface.
- Cut and fit tiles around obstacles and openings using hand and power cutting tools.
- Pack grout into joints between tiles and remove excess grout.
- Remove and replace cracked or damaged tiles.
- Supervise other workers and ensure that all work is completed to a high standard.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in tile installation.
- Permanent employment.
- English as the primary language of communication.
- 40 hours per week.
