Job Title: Tile Setter

SKY CONTRACTING INC. is seeking a skilled Tile Setter to join our team. As a Tile Setter, you will be responsible for preparing, measuring, and marking surfaces to be covered with tile. You will also mix, apply, and spread mortar, cement, mastic, glue, or other adhesives using a hand trowel.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare rough plans and sketches to ensure accurate tile placement.
  • Set tiles in place and apply pressure to affix them to the base.
  • Align and straighten tiles to ensure a professional finish.
  • Supervise other workers to ensure efficient and safe working practices.
  • Estimate costs and materials for tile installation projects.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in tile setting.
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
  • Physical stamina to lift and carry heavy materials.
Working Conditions:
  • 40 hours per week.
  • Permanent work term.
  • Work language: English.
