About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Bookkeeper to join our team at 642715 ALBERTA LTD. as a permanent full-time position.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledgers.
  • Depreciation and Asset Management: Calculate and record depreciation of fixed assets, ensuring accurate financial reporting.
  • Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements.
  • Tax Compliance: Prepare and submit tax returns, ensuring compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations.
  • Accounting Systems: Maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems, including MS Excel.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in bookkeeping or a related field.
  • Computer and Technology Skills: Proficient in MS Excel and MS Word.
Work Environment
  • Work Term: Permanent.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Hours: 35 hours per week.
