**Job Opportunity: Part-time Maintenance Technician**

We are seeking a skilled and organized Part-time Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role will involve working 20-25 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with a usual shift of 8:00am to 12:00pm. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of maintenance experience, be able to multitask, and possess excellent organizational and professional skills.

**Responsibilities**

  • **Facilities Maintenance**: Maintain the building interior and exterior, including completing minor janitorial duties.
  • **Equipment Maintenance**: Ensure all buildings, including auction lanes, are in good working condition.
  • **Maintenance Scheduling**: Follow a maintenance schedule to inspect, clean, and replace defective or used parts for building equipment, water treatment facilities, operations equipment, and machinery.
  • **Lot and Parking Lot Maintenance**: Maintain the lot and parking lots, including lawn and surrounding landscape maintenance, and removing trash.
  • **Inventory Management**: Monitor equipment and parts to identify current and future requirements, and place orders as needed.
  • **Equipment Inspections**: Conduct regular inspections to ensure equipment, electrical, plumbing, and heating systems are operational, and complete minor repairs as required.
  • **Other Duties**: Assist the Lot Operations team in maintaining a well-organized yard.

**Requirements**

  • Previous maintenance experience required.
  • Working knowledge of maintenance equipment.
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative.
  • Heavy lifting required.
  • Criminal Record Check completed and cleared by OPENLANE / ADESA is mandatory.
