OPENLANE / ADESA Canada is a leading wholesale vehicle auction and remarketing services company. As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities.

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at OPENLANE / ADESA Saskatoon. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining the building interior and exterior, including completing minor janitorial duties. You will also be responsible for maintaining all buildings in good working condition, including the auction lanes.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain the building interior and exterior, including completing minor janitorial duties.
  • Maintain all buildings in good working condition, including the auction lanes.
  • Maintain building equipment, water treatment facility, operations equipment, and machinery by following a maintenance schedule consisting of inspection, cleaning, and replacement of defective or used parts.
  • Ensure the maintenance of the lot and parking lots, completing lawn and surrounding landscape maintenance, and may remove trash.
  • Monitor equipment and parts to identify current and future requirements and place orders.
  • Ensure equipment, electrical, plumbing, and heating are operational by conducting regular inspections and completing minor repairs.
  • Monitor necessary inventory levels and place orders.
  • Other duties may apply, such as assisting the Lot Operations team in keeping the yard organized.

Requirements

  • Previous maintenance experience required.
  • Working knowledge of maintenance equipment.
  • Must be a self-starter and take initiative.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Heavy lifting required.
  • Criminal Record Check completed and cleared by OPENLANE / ADESA is mandatory.
