About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and caring individual to join our team as a Daycare Helper at Little Cabineers Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the daily operations of our daycare program, ensuring a safe and engaging environment for children.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program Support: Assist early childhood educators in implementing programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
  • Engagement and Activities: Engage children in activities such as storytelling, singing, and craft preparation, fostering a love for learning and exploration.
  • Logistics and Administration: Prepare snacks, arrange rooms or furniture for lunch and rest periods, and submit written observations on children to early childhood educators or supervisors.
  • Team Collaboration: Participate in staff meetings to discuss children's progress and problems, ensuring a collaborative and supportive team environment.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
  • Language: English
  • Work Hours: 35 hours per week
