Job Title: Daycare Helper

We are seeking a reliable and caring Daycare Helper to join our team at Little Cabineers Inc.

Job Description:Responsibilities:
  • Assist early childhood educators in developing and implementing programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
  • Engage children in activities such as storytelling, singing, and crafting to encourage learning and creativity.
  • Prepare healthy snacks and maintain a safe and organized environment for children during rest periods.
  • Contribute to the development of children's skills by providing feedback and support to early childhood educators.
  • Participate in staff meetings to discuss children's progress and address any concerns.
Requirements:
  • Punctuality and reliability are essential for this role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required to work effectively with children, educators, and parents.
  • Flexibility and adaptability are necessary to respond to the changing needs of children and the daycare environment.
  • Judgement and reliability are crucial for making decisions that promote the well-being and safety of children.
  • Team player with a strong sense of values and ethics.
Experience:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Permanent position with 35 hours of work per week.
  • English is the primary language of communication.
