Sawmill Operator

We are seeking a skilled Sawmill Labourer to join our team at Imperial Shake Co Ltd. As a Sawmill Labourer, you will be responsible for feeding conveyors, hoppers, saws, and drying machines, as well as sorting, piling, and transporting wood products.
Key Responsibilities- Feed conveyors, hoppers, saws, and drying machines with wood products
- Sort and pile wood products for transportation
- Remove scrap lumber and wood chips for reprocessing
- Clean machines and immediate work areas to maintain a safe and efficient work environment
- We provide diversity and cross-cultural trainings to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers and/or refugees
- We offer awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth
- We provide cultural competency training and/or awareness training to all employees to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers
As a Sawmill Labourer, you will work in a fast-paced sawmill environment with a team of experienced professionals. You will be required to work 40 hours per week in a physically demanding role.
