We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeping Assistant to join our team at Mindanao General Contracting Services Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities, including sweeping, mopping, and polishing floors, as well as dusting furniture and vacuuming carpets.

Work Setting: Our facilities include apartment/condominium complexes, office buildings, and industrial facilities. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and be able to handle heavy loads and physically demanding tasks.

Responsibilities: The Housekeeping Assistant will be responsible for:

  • Sweeping, mopping, and polishing floors
  • Dusting furniture and vacuuming carpets
  • Cleaning and disinfecting kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances
  • Handling and reporting lost and found items
  • Providing basic information on facilities to guests
  • Picking up debris and emptying trash containers
  • Washing windows, walls, and ceilings
  • Cleaning changing rooms and showers

Requirements: To be successful in this role, the candidate must have a secondary (high) school graduation certificate and less than 7 months of experience. They must also be able to work under pressure and have a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.

Working Conditions: The Housekeeping Assistant will work in a fast-paced environment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. They must be able to handle heavy loads and physically demanding tasks.

Security and Safety: The successful candidate will be required to undergo a criminal record check.

Transportation/Travel Information: The candidate must have their own transportation or be able to use public transportation.

Work Term: This is a permanent position with 35 to 40 hours of work per week.

Work Language: English is the primary language of communication in this role.
