Job Title: Truck Driver

Trillium Recycling Inc. is seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Transportation: Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials.
  • Route Planning: Plan or adjust routes based on changing conditions, using computer equipment, global positioning systems (GPS) equipment, or other navigation devices, to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions.
  • Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns and provide professional service.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment.
  • Documentation: Obtain special permits and other documents required to transport cargo on international routes and record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption.
Requirements:
  • Licenses and Certifications: AZ class license and Air Brakes Endorsement.
  • Personal Qualities: Team player with excellent communication skills.
  • Work Schedule: 30 to 44 hours per week.
