Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Team Leader to join our adidas Retail Store team in Scarborough Town Centre. As a Team Leader, you will play a key role in supporting the sales, profitability, and operational goals of the store by guiding and developing our hourly associates.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop a high-performing team of hourly associates to deliver exceptional customer service and drive sales growth.
- Provide coaching and training to associates to enhance their product knowledge, sales skills, and overall performance.
- Assist with visual merchandising, including creating displays and maintaining a visually appealing store environment.
- Contribute to the achievement of sales and profitability targets by identifying opportunities to improve sales and customer engagement.
- Collaborate with management to develop and implement strategies to drive business growth and improve customer satisfaction.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management to support the smooth operation of the store.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field an asset.
- Minimum 3-6 months of retail experience, preferably in a leadership role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse team.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work a varied schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
