Job Summary

Les Instruments de Musique Twigg Inc. is seeking a skilled Wind Instrument Technician to join our team. As a Wind Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for inspecting, repairing, and maintaining wind instruments to ensure they are in excellent working condition.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and Diagnose Instruments: Carefully examine wind instruments to identify any defects or damage.
  • Repair and Maintain Instruments: Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to repair or replace damaged parts and components.
  • Test and Adjust Instruments: Thoroughly test repaired instruments to ensure they are functioning properly and make any necessary adjustments.
  • Calibrate Instruments: Use hand tools to calibrate instruments to precise specifications.
Requirements
  • Education: College or CEGEP diploma in a related field.
  • Experience: 5 years or more of experience in wind instrument repair and maintenance.
  • Language: Fluency in English or French.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with occasional overtime required.
  • Physical Demands: Physically demanding with manual dexterity, attention to detail, and hand-eye coordination required.
  • Weight Handling: Ability to lift up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs).
