Job Title: Senior Officer, Private Sector Partnerships

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Officer, Private Sector Partnerships to join our team at Katimavik Youth Services. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for developing and executing fundraising strategies to support our programs and services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Fundraising Strategies: Develop and execute comprehensive fund development plans and related strategies to secure private sector funding for Katimavik's programs and services.
  • Grant Management: Research and identify private sector grant opportunities that align with Katimavik's programmatic priorities and geographic focus areas. Work with the CEO to cultivate, solicit, and steward major donors, including high-net-worth individuals, corporations, and foundations in Canada.
  • Collaborative Responsibilities: Collaborate with communications staff on digital campaigns and evaluate the effectiveness of fund development and private sector partnership strategies.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in fundraising and development, with a focus on private sector partnerships.
  • Strong research and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and pursue new funding opportunities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with donors, stakeholders, and colleagues.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
