Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Officer, Private Sector Partnerships to join our team at Katimavik Youth Services. As a key member of our fundraising and partnerships team, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic fundraising and partnerships initiatives to support our organization's mission and goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute comprehensive fundraising strategies to secure private sector funding and partnerships.
  • Collaborate with directors and stakeholders to understand and determine organizational funding needs.
  • Research and identify private sector grant opportunities that align with Katimavik's programmatic priorities and geographic focus areas.
  • Cultivate private sector partnerships within strategic program project locations.
  • Launch and manage Individual Giving and Direct Response campaigns.
  • Grant Management: research and identify private sector grant opportunities, work with the CEO to cultivate and steward major donors, craft compelling grant proposals, and manage reporting requirements for funders.
  • Collaborative Responsibilities: collaborate with communications staff on digital campaigns, evaluate the effectiveness of fundraising and partnerships strategies, and ensure all administrative tasks related to contracts, reports, and donor communications are completed accurately and on time.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience in fundraising and partnerships, with a strong track record of securing private sector funding and partnerships.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders, including directors, donors, and partners.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop and execute comprehensive fundraising strategies.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to collaboration and teamwork.
