Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Hospitalist to join our team at Groves Memorial Community Hospital, a 44-bed acute care facility located in Fergus, Ontario. As a Hospitalist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team, and contributing to the hospital's mission to deliver exceptional healthcare services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive medical care to patients, including diagnosis, treatment, and management of acute and chronic conditions
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including family medicine physicians, specialists, and allied health staff, to ensure seamless patient care
- Participate in hospital-wide quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures
- Engage in teaching and education activities, including medical student and resident supervision
- Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical programs and services
