About the Role:

We're seeking a highly skilled software engineer with a strong background in computer science, image processing, and machine learning to join our dynamic development team. Your expertise will be instrumental in architecting, designing, and developing image processing algorithms and applying machine learning techniques to improve our image processing system.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design and develop image processing algorithms to drive innovation in our Opal Mapping system.
  2. Apply machine learning techniques to enhance the accuracy and efficiency of our image processing system.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of high-quality software solutions.
  4. Partner with marketing, systems engineering, QA, hardware, and regulatory teams to understand requirements and bring the best solutions forward.

Requirements:

  1. Strong CS background, preferably BS/MS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  2. Proven experience in programming languages such as C++.
  3. Experience with image processing libraries like OpenCV or similar.
  4. Track record of delivering successful mission-critical products.
  5. Broad and deep technology experience in image processing and machine learning.
  6. Strong systems development skills.
  7. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  8. Strong communication skills with the ability to adapt to diverse audiences.
  9. Commitment to patient safety and product quality.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Experience in architecting, designing, and implementing medical device software.
  2. Experience in writing software for embedded systems that interface with sensors.
