Job Title: School Janitor

At Gobind Sarvar School Edmonton, we are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented School Janitor to join our team.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled School Janitor to maintain the cleanliness and organization of our school facilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the school is safe and healthy for students, staff, and visitors.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of school facilities, including classrooms, hallways, and common areas.
  • Ensure the school is safe and healthy by reporting any hazards or maintenance issues to the facilities manager.
  • Perform routine cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and emptying trash and recycling.
  • Restock supplies and materials as needed.
  • Assist with special events and projects as required.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in janitorial or facilities maintenance.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects.
  • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.

Working Conditions:

This is a full-time position working on-site at Gobind Sarvar School Edmonton. The successful candidate will be required to work a regular schedule, including weekends and holidays as needed.
