Job Title: School Custodian

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented School Custodian to join our team at Gobind Sarvar School Edmonton. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for our students, staff, and visitors.

Responsibilities:
  • Cleaning and Sanitation: Sweep, mop, scrub, and wax hallways, floors, and stairs; empty trash cans and other waste containers; wash windows, interior walls, and ceilings; clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures.
  • Security and Safety: Ensure a secure and safe environment by following established protocols and procedures.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks; physically demanding with bending, crouching, and kneeling.
  • Personal Suitability: Dependable, flexible, organized, and reliable.
Requirements:
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required; experience an asset.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods.
What We Offer:
  • Permanent full-time position.
  • 30-40 hours per week.
