Job Title: Diagnostic Medical Sonographer

Hamilton Health Sciences Corporation is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Medical Sonographer to join our team. As a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, you will be responsible for performing a variety of ultrasound examinations, including pediatric and high-risk obstetric procedures. You will work closely with a multi-disciplinary healthcare team to ensure the technical quality of procedures and provide exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform ultrasound examinations, including pediatric and high-risk obstetric procedures
  • Coordinate and operate ultrasound equipment, ensuring technical quality and accuracy
  • Work collaboratively with healthcare teams to provide exceptional patient care
  • Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay up-to-date with industry advancements
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited training program in Ultrasonography
  • Current member in good standing with the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO)
  • Professional designation of Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (DMS)
  • Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) registration
  • Demonstrated ability to work responsibly in a team environment
  • Effective communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
  • Effective problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced clinical environment
