Job Summary

Hamilton Health Sciences is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Diagnostic Medical Sonographer to join our team. As a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, you will be responsible for performing a variety of ultrasound examinations, including pediatric and high-risk obstetric, and triage examinations as necessary. You will work closely with a multi-disciplinary healthcare team to ensure the technical quality of procedures and provide exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform ultrasound examinations, including pediatric and high-risk obstetric, and triage examinations as necessary
  • Work closely with a multi-disciplinary healthcare team to ensure the technical quality of procedures
  • Provide exceptional patient care and maintain a safe and respectful environment
  • Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and techniques
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited training program in Ultrasonography
  • Current member in good standing with the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO)
  • Professional designation of Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (DMS)
  • Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) registration
  • Demonstrated ability to work responsibly in a team environment
  • Demonstrated effective communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
