Pharmascience is a leading pharmaceutical company seeking an experienced Senior Quality Assurance Operations Manager to join our team.

Salary: $90,000 - $120,000 per year

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled professional to oversee quality assurance operations at our Royalmount site. As a Senior Quality Assurance Operations Manager, you will be responsible for organizing and managing activities related to quality assurance in connection with investigations and complaints initiated at the RMT site.

Responsibilities
  • Lead quality assurance investigations, complaints, CAPA, and floor support to operations.
  • Define objectives of quality assurance investigations and floor support to operations.
  • Plan and organize work to achieve targeted objectives.
  • Ensure interpretation of GMP compliance, consulting, training, and other support services to maintain and improve quality.
  • Track priorities and compile results (KPI).
  • Provide support during regulatory and client inspections.
  • Participate in development of performance indicators for the Royalmount site.
  • Assist QA Managers and Head of Quality and Compliance RMT site as needed.
  • Approve investigations and CAPA.
  • Review and approve procedures.
  • Ensure investigation release follow-up to meet release deadlines.
  • Manage, motivate, and develop team members to achieve defined objectives.
  • Evaluate employees' performance based on annual performance objectives.
  • Maintain workforce level to achieve corporate objectives.
Requirements
  • In-depth knowledge of Canadian, US, and European good manufacturing practices (GMP) and ICH standards.
  • Expertise in implementation of quality management procedures, standards, programs, and concepts.
  • Experience in multifunctional teamwork and projects management.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills between stakeholders internally and externally.
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills.
  • Ability to identify and solve problems.
  • Rigor and attention to detail.
  • Ability to make decisions.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite software.
  • Fluency in English and French (oral and written), as role requires interaction with regulatory authorities, suppliers, and clients outside Quebec.
