About the Role

We're seeking a skilled Backend Engineer to join our team at Index Exchange, a leading ad tech company. As a key member of our technology team, you'll play a crucial role in shaping the future of our exchange and contributing to the development of high-performance software systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, write, and test robust and reliable code for our cutting-edge programmatic ad tech systems.
  • Collaborate with our product team to deeply understand the domain and identify opportunities for improvements.
  • Work closely with our engineering team to foster a collaborative environment and bring people together to solve complex problems.
  • Analyze and estimate work in an agile environment, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality software products.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in the industry, applying your knowledge to drive innovation and improvement in our systems.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience as a backend software engineer.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience working with data products, data APIs, and data reporting.
  • Proficiency in GoLang or other backend technologies, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
  • Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and algorithms.
