Job Title: Land Surveyor - Property Boundary Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Land Surveyor to join our team at Kimtech Geomatics. As a Property Boundary Specialist, you will be responsible for preparing data and documents related to surveys of real property boundaries, reading blueprints and specifications to determine work requirements, and supervising other land surveyors and/or field crews.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare all data and documents related to surveys of real property boundaries
  • Read blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine work requirements
  • Supervise other land surveyors and/or field crews
  • Plan, direct and supervise or conduct surveys to establish legal boundaries of properties
  • Record all measurements and other information obtained during survey activities
  • Analyze, manage and display data using geographic information systems and computer-aided design and drafting
  • Determine precise locations using electronic distance measuring equipment

Requirements:

  • Valid driver's licence
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Organized and detail-oriented
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Work Environment: Our team works outdoors, in various locations, including urban and rural areas. You will be required to stand for extended periods and walk.

Language: English

Work Schedule: 30-40 hours per week
