Logistics Coordinator

Mama's Grocery is seeking a skilled Logistics Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our supply chain team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth delivery of goods to our stores. Your duties will include determining the method of shipment, scheduling distribution of goods, and preparing bills of lading and other shipping documents.
In this role, you will also be responsible for assembling containers and crates, inspecting and verifying incoming goods, and maintaining our internal record-keeping system. Additionally, you will be responsible for routing goods to appropriate storage areas, packing goods to be shipped, and unpacking goods received.
As a Logistics Coordinator, you will work closely with our material handlers and helpers to ensure that all goods are loaded and unloaded safely and efficiently. You will also be responsible for overseeing the loading and unloading of goods and supervising the material handlers and helpers.
Our ideal candidate will have experience with inventory control software, spreadsheets, and MS Excel. They will also have knowledge of dollies and hand trucks, industrial lift trucks and fork-lifts, and be familiar with green job practices.
