About the Role

The Ski Resort Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our ski lifts, maintenance, and snow making facilities. This is a key role that requires strong leadership and technical skills.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and direct staff working on the lifts to ensure safe and efficient operations.
  • Develop and implement methods to improve work processes and procedures.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations.
  • Recruit and train staff to meet operational needs.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or degree from a recognized post-secondary institution in a relevant field.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in passenger ropeway operations.
  • 2 years of supervisory experience, ideally leading a large team.
  • Lift Operator certification.
  • Knowledge of Occupational Health & Safety Regulations and Worker's Compensation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
