Job Title: Heavy Equipment Technician

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Technician to join our team at Joe Johnson Equipment Ottawa. As a Heavy Equipment Technician, you will be responsible for performing maintenance and repairs on a variety of heavy equipment, including vacuum trucks, refuse and recycling collection vehicles, street sweepers, sewer cleaners, and inspection cameras.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment
  • Conduct inspections and diagnose issues with equipment
  • Repair and replace parts as needed
  • Work with the service team to ensure efficient and effective repairs
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of experience as a Heavy Equipment Technician
  • Valid driver's license and clean abstract
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
