As a Nurse Practitioner with Calian, your responsibilities will include performing comprehensive health assessments, consulting with physicians or other healthcare professionals when necessary, and making medical employment limitation recommendations. You will also be responsible for prescribing medications, ordering diagnostic tests, and implementing strategies to promote health and prevent illness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive health assessments and develop personalized care plans
  • Consult with physicians or other healthcare professionals as needed
  • Makes medical employment limitation recommendations in accordance with Surgeon General's guidelines
  • Prescribe medications and order diagnostic tests as required
  • Implement strategies to promote health and prevent illness
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to manage chronic illnesses

Requirements:

  • Licensed and in good standing with College of Nurses of Ontario
  • Basic Life Support for Health Providers or CPR/AED Level C certification
