About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Construction Labourer and Helper to join our team at Alpha Draywall and Renovation. As a key member of our construction team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the successful completion of our projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Loading and Unloading Materials: Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites.
  • Material Preparation: Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt as required.
  • Site Support: Assist medical examiners, help with framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs, and remove rubble and other debris at construction sites.
  • Machinery Operation: Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction, ensuring they are properly maintained and operated.
  • Construction Specialization: Work on industrial, commercial, and institutional projects, as well as residential construction.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
  • Physical Demands: Physically demanding work, repetitive tasks, handling heavy loads, and attention to detail.
  • Tools and Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots, gloves, and other necessary tools.
  • Personal Suitability: Efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, reliability, and a team player attitude.
Working Conditions
  • Work Environment: Outdoors, noisy, and dusty conditions.
  • Work Setting: Construction sites.
