About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Home Support Worker to join our team at Hong Mei SONG. As a Home Support Worker, you will provide essential care and support to individuals in their own homes, promoting their independence and well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer bedside and personal care, ensuring the comfort and dignity of our clients.
  • Launder clothing and household linens, maintaining a clean and hygienic environment.
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, keeping living spaces tidy and organized.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support, helping to alleviate feelings of loneliness and isolation.
  • Participate in government or community programs that support newcomers, refugees, and Indigenous people, promoting cultural sensitivity and understanding.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience an asset, but not required.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Physical ability to perform tasks that require standing, walking, and lifting.
What We Offer
  • Permanent full-time position.
