We are seeking a detail-oriented and physically capable individual to join our team as a Maintenance Operations Coordinator at Bodwell High School.

Job Description

This role involves providing maintenance services to ensure the upkeep of our facilities, including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and waxing floors, operating industrial vacuum cleaners, emptying trash cans, washing windows and walls, making minor repairs, and performing safety checks.

The ideal candidate will have 2 years of experience in a related field and be able to work independently with minimal supervision. They must also be able to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and handle heavy loads.

We offer a competitive salary of $65,000 per year, plus benefits such as dental, health care, and vision care plans. Additionally, we provide free parking and paid time off for volunteering or personal days.

Responsibilities
  • Sweep, mop, scrub, and wax hallways, floors, and stairs
  • Operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove debris and other refuse
  • Empty trash cans and waste containers
  • Wash windows, interior walls, and ceilings
  • Make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems
  • Contact contractors for repairs and maintenance
  • Perform minor repairs on appliances
  • Supervise other workers
  • Move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies
Requirements
  • 2 years of experience in a related field
  • High school graduation certificate
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
