About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Operations Supervisor to join our team at Lion's Gate Building Maintenance Ltd.

Job Summary

The ideal candidate will have experience in overseeing maintenance operations, ensuring the upkeep of our properties. The salary for this position is approximately $55,000 per year, based on industry standards and location factors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Schedule and coordinate tasks with maintenance staff to ensure timely completion of assignments.
  • Conduct regular site visits to inspect properties and identify areas requiring attention.
  • Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used.
  • Collaborate with contractors to address repairs and maintenance needs.
  • Supervise staff during snow removal and other seasonal activities.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Physical demands include handling heavy loads and working in various weather conditions.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Post-secondary education in a relevant field.
  • Previous experience as a supervisor or leadhand.
  • Knowledge of building codes and regulations.
