Job Summary

The Production Manager is a key leadership position at CARSTAR Hamilton Rymal, responsible for overseeing the entire shop operation. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Manager to lead our team and drive excellence in collision repair.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Oversee the daily activities of the shop, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.
  2. Recruit, train, and develop production staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.
  3. Monitor and maintain quality control, ensuring that all repairs meet company standards and customer expectations.
  4. Manage the parts department, ensuring that all necessary materials and equipment are available to support production.
  5. Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, productivity, and quality.
Requirements
  • 2-5 years of experience in management or the collision repair industry.
  • Proven track record of leadership and management skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with management software, estimating software, and MS Office.
  • Knowledge of WHMIS and first aid procedures.
  • Valid driver's license.
