Job Summary

We're seeking a skilled Tailor to join our team at Levi's Market Mall store in Calgary, Alberta. As a Tailor, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and delivering high-quality alteration services to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute and manage basic alteration services, including hemming, patching, and repairing, as well as more technical alterations.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to elevate the customer experience.
  • Train and educate store teams on customer offerings and services provided by the Tailor Shop.
  • Assist with responsibilities on the selling floor and fitting room as needed.
  • Comply with all Levi's policies and programs.

Requirements:

  • Thorough understanding of the denim industry and current/upcoming trends.
  • Understanding of textiles and fabrics with proven skills in sewing, tailoring, and textile repair.
  • Awareness of design and details, with strong communication skills both internally and externally.

Education and Experience:

  • Formal training in apparel design preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 year of sewing/tailoring experience and a strong knowledge of jeans construction.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand, walk, sit, talk, and hear, with occasional reaching, lifting, climbing, or balancing.

Schedule Requirements:

  • Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business, including evening and weekend shifts.
