Job Title: Group Home Worker - Crisis Intervention Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Group Home Worker to join our team at the John Howard Society of New Brunswick Fundy Region Inc. As a Group Home Worker, you will be responsible for providing crisis intervention and support to individuals with mental health disabilities in a group home setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide crisis intervention and support to individuals with mental health disabilities
  • Implement behavior management programs to promote positive behavior
  • Assist clients with daily living activities, including housekeeping and food preparation
  • Work collaboratively with a team of professionals to provide comprehensive support to clients
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge

Requirements:

  • College/CEGEP diploma in a related field
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field
  • Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST) certification
  • Mandt System training
  • First Aid Certificate
  • CPR Certificate
  • Food Safety Certificate
